It should work. With a little skillful welding you could enlarge the the existing balance tube port. Take a look at the manifold on the FLYGAS website and you will see exactly where to put it. If I would have had access to two manifolds, thats what I would have done.

2.9 gal/hr @ 4300 rpm.
Absolutely smooth running and smooth idling down to 950 rpm. (I idle at 1700 but lowered it just to see what would happen).
Simulated a broken throttle wire by fully opening one throttle. Gradually closed the other carb down to idle and engine gradually slows to 2800 rpm and runs smoothly with one carb wide open and the other at full idle.
