I don't think I have those taken from the trike any more.. They weren't too good ..weather hazy and not well focused as I didnt look thru the viewfinder, just shot "from the Hip" so to say.I had a Nikon F4 shooting slides. Nowadys cameras are so much better with AF etc..even the "little" point-shooters would beat the F4 in that kind of situation.

But I dont believe I was "Taking the Cake" with that stint...just did it one morning, taking off from my "home field", arusha (app100km away). I was confident not to get any altitude issues as I used to climb Mountains a lot and Using high winds to get somewhere(in Africa=dist.) with a slow Trike at FL14-16. Otherwise here we have prevailing 40km/h monsoon slowing you down a lot.
I do remember having read that recently someone flew over mt Everest? in a trike? Some French guy. His mashine was powered with a 914 though.

Take a look at this.
Richard Meredith-Hardy & others have flown over several summits including Mount Everest with Rotax engines.

I believe that in the UK, use of mogas is approved to a max altitude of 6000ft only. Possibly due to concerns about vapour lock.
