Hi John,
Please keep us posted on your progress. In my case, I'm told that the paperwork for warranty reimbursement for the new housing has been submitted to Rotax. Since I'm out of pocket somewhere around $900, I hope to hear from them soon.
Alex

OK here is the latest update, from down under (Australia)_fitted the new oil housing and all test runs proved positive with no problems at operating temp and at 5000 RPM, slight fluctuations when reducing power which i am told is OK.We then test flew the RV and at full power all is good but when set to cruise ie.5000 RPM we had a slight fluctuation of around 2-4 psi,it seemed to be more of a vibration type fluctuation as compared to before when it was fluctuating between 20 and 60 psi, pressure fluctuates by around 10 psi when reducing power on approach which is quit acceptable, only had time for a quick test flight before bad light interrupted proceedings. All in all i am happy with the outcome ,while not 100% fixed ill take a 90 % improvement. So it would seem Alex was onto something re the oil pump housing,it certainly made a vast improvement to my situation,
Hope this information helps ,wont be doing any more flight tests until i return from Sun and Fun but will keep you all updated
John
