Alex i forgot to ask did you resort back to the ball and spring or stay with the new mushroom style valve after fitting the new housing

I swapped back to the mushroom style valve because it seems to me to be a better design.

Have sent my oil housing of to our Rotax dealer here in Australia for inspection ,will keep everyone informed with the outcome

HI all.
On my last post I said I had done all the things those before me had done but I had somehow missed the part where Alex.had replaced the pump housing. Didn't do that part. Oops.

Yesterday I flew for over 4 hours and the last 2 hours my oil pressure was almost stable, moving just a little around the low 50's. That's after about 20 hours from replacing the sender and installing a new spring and going to the mushroom.

Maybe the seat is seating in?

just heard from our Rotax dealer here in Aus. and he informs me that there is a definite difference in the PRV seat housing on my oil pump housing when compared to a new one , Waiting to hear from Rotax as to where we go from here??
