I applaud you in your tenacity for finding this problem. Few if any may have found that. That was a tough diagnosis as well as a fix. I hope it continues to work well.

Hi Alex and everyone,as we have determined my problem is motor/oil pump related and not a gauge issue as our mechanical gauge is giving us the same readings, it has been suggested on our Recreational Flying Forum here in Australia that a bad seating of the PRV might be our problem,so we will remove the oil pump and carefully check the seating of he PRV ,I am waiting to hear from our local Rotax dealer to see if they may have some input into this but as yet there is no response,i will try to source a new oil pump housing and try that

Hi all, a quick update a fellow club member that has been following my predicament ,has offered to remove his oil pump and fit it to my RV12 to see if the problem goes away

Thank you Roger.  I do feel better.  I will start the process of finding my particular cause.  I also feel better about making a couple of cross country trips we had planned for the spring and summer.  I just purchase my little bird and am in catch-up mode, not having flown for a number of years and never having owned/operated a Rotax.

I did all those things, including remote mounting of the new transmitter, and my pressure fluctuates between 60 and 40 psig as well. The good news is before it was between 60 and 10 and the fluctuations were way more jittery.

I'm trying to be happy about the current readings.
