I have a 503 with serial number 3986341. Is there a way to look up the build info?

3986341 is sufficiently old that there is no build info available. (predates the electronic database!)

3986341 was produced 24-Jan-1992

My 503 serial number is: 3609398. Could anyone please tell me the date of manufacture and any other build details?

In the factory database, 3609398 shows a Production Date of 15-Apr-1986.
But the database does not contain any additional information on that engine, not even the model number! A look through the North American Distributor's ancient paper records confirms that is is indeed a Model 503, (sold to a ROTAX dealer in the USA) but those records give no further technical data on the engine.
