Thanks. I meant the engines that run retarded for the first 5 seconds after start. The engine in my 2005 CTSW does not but the engine in my Searey thats a 2011 does

The ASM ignition system (Thank you Conrad!) was introduced on ULS s/n 6775360 Aug 2009.
Any ULS with six/six pin modules can be converted to ASM. Changing the flywheel to p/n 966872 greatly enhances the starting as the piston has already passed top dead center when the spark plug fires, thereby preventing kickback that damages the sprag.
