Dave,

You are lucky with 140°c, I have 160°c on one cylinder and 200°c on the other. Think the limit is at 220°C.

Here are the pictures for you Jean....its a 503 top cowl...out of interest my CHTs are within 5c of each other with this type of cowl.

For info - I made a baffle similar to the pictures and pop-riveted it into the cowl.

I should have added...my very even CHTs could be due to the fact I have duel carbs....helps with the metering....when I ran a SCDI 503 one set of plugs where always lighter than the other indicating hotter running.
