Mike if you do get around to taking a look at your prop....well worth looking at these videos if you haven't already seen them...this one in particular,

This one gives a good insight into torquing the prop bolts...I love the locking washers in this one...never seen them before,

I must get one of those digital levels nice bit of kit...I use at the moment the Warp Drive protractor,

Viewed both video and found them both very educational. And yes, I am now looking to get the digital level also as the protractor that came with the aircraft is worn and loose and impossible to get an accurate angle with it.

Tried looking at other videos on the EAA site but they close after only 2 minutes. I suppose one needs to join up ($50 a year) to view them, but its strange there is no mention on the site about requirements to view the videos. A shame really because I was really getting into the Rotax 2 stroke video... Are you about to have an engine failure.

Something wrong there Mike....I'm not a member and I can watch them all...I will check again though,

My protractor type gauge a warp like the one in the video is slightly loose in its runners...not sure it matters as you lock it with the screw,

Worth persevering with the EAA site....some good stuff on there...

Try the powerfin prop website. www.powerfin.com

They have a good tutorial on how to set the pitch with the digital gauge. All the ground adjustable props are set basically the same way.
