912 oil tank return line

I have cracked the return line to the oil tank on my 912. I got new hose and can't get it over the flare on the tubes. Does anyone know if there is a tool to slip them over or a special trick to get it on?

    If you can’t slide a new hose over the flared end of the oil tank fitting then the hose is too small. It should be 13mm (1/2”), You may have this size and it may be the wrong type of hose. If this is the case get a different hose type.
