Thanks. I was familiar with the procedures, just didn't remember the term "Venting" applied to that prop rotation.

I would define venting as a natural process fed fundamentally by gravity.
I would define purging as a forced process involving the use of a pump or similar.
The dictionary would define Venting as replacing the air in the oil lines and filter with fresh air, and Purging as replacing the air in the lines with Oil.
Roger can Vent, Tom will Purge, and I think I'll just Bleed out the Air :lol:
