Facing forward on that plane means the tubes may be getting a positive pressure flow as the air comes through the cowling at speed. This can affect the fuel level in the bowl. I would just turn them around and face them towards the fire wall.

Yes i have an aux pump and a pressure gauge, but to be honest, when the problem occurred, i dont remember what the gauges registered, but on the ground all works fine, fuel pressure up. and able to reach full chat at 5000rpm..
