Winter

Hello everybody and sorry for my approximative english. I have to convoy my plane in cold wheather tomorrow (-16 C). I put aluminium tape on oil radiator today and it work well, but what about water radiator? Does some of you put some alu. tape on it too ? My plane have a big mouth and cold air hit radiator with to much efficiency

    I know a few guys with the same aircraft and for cold weather they put a fairly large piece of foam inside the coolant rad intake.
    I think I remember it being about 30cm x 20cm and about 6cm thick

    Many of us put aluminum tape over the oil cooler and the coolant radiator. There is no problem here.
