finding the Rotax engine manufacture date and model

Can you help with Mot.Nr. 4178256? We think it's a Rotax 670 but don't know the year.

4178256 is not found in the factory database. 
And it's not a seven digit serial number (all aircraft engines have seven digit serials...)
