5643683 is a 912ULS produced on April 19th, 2004

original factory configuration:

without fuel lines
UL2 I=2,43 with clutch
without vacuum pump
with green valve covers
without mech. tachom. pick up
without external generator
without air guide baffle
with std. temperatur sensors
with nipple conn. for oil pump
with expansion tank
without air box
without engine truss
starter large


You can determine 912 TBO by checking SB-912-057 (UL)

"Extension of TBO for ROTAX Engine Type 912 (series)"

In the case of this engine, if all of the extension requirements in SB-912-057UL were complied with then TBO could have been extended to 2000 hours or 15 years (Otherwise, it's 1500 hours or 12 years, which would have expired April of 2016)

Hello I have just purchased an air boat that has an rotax engine. The tag is badly worn all I can make out is a 7 digit number I assume is the serial number 3568154 can anyone please help me learn more about it thank you.

sorry, 3568154 is not found - perhaps it is not a ROTAX "aircraft" engine, but a ROTAX from some other vehicle (our database only contains the aircraft engines). If you post some photos, we can probably identify it...
