Electrical system over voltage protection

I am designing the electrical system for a LSA using a Rotax 912ULS and Dynon instrumentation and am wondering if I need to install some over voltage protection unit in the system. What is the highest voltage that can be expected from the 912ULS internal generator if the regulator fails?

Up to 30V? This is voltage on AC side. it's depends of type of malfunction.
