912 cranksaft number

Hi, I assume that cranksaft number is belong the cranksaft inside engine and would not to be reached without deassembling the motor. So Service Bulletin SB-912-059UL where my engine number is not to be mentioned mean's I don't need to do that, this engine is brand new because failure.

    It is my understanding that the crankshaft numbers were crankshafts which were installed in the engines listed. If your engine was not on the list and you have the original crankshaft, you are OK.

    Hi Jukka,

    Bill's right. The engines involved were fairly new engines and a fairly limited production. If you have and engine and the serial number is not on the list then your good to go. If you have had the crank replaced recently then that serial number on the crank should have been put in your logbook. That would be the number to check against the SB crank serial numbers.
