Tempest oil filter

In talking with California Power Systems, I am not the only one enjoying the new filter. I was told that on some installations, that the new filter wouldn't clear the cowling. I am mostly working on Tecnams here.

Interesting. I have a Tecnam on my field, now I'll have to go look. It's hard to believe a few mm's is causing an issue, but I'm dying to go look. Please keep us informed.

As of this time, it is a 50/50 chance that the oil filter will fit without loosening #2 exhaust pipe. One was a Sierra, the other an Eaglet. It seems the newer aircraft are more prone to having clearance problems.

Hi, do you know what the Mahle OC part number is please for the oil filter.
