Rotax 912 Muffler internals

Hello,

Does anyone know what the baffles or internals of the stock 912 muffler look like?  Maybe a cutaway picture or borescope of the internal layout?

    Hi Chris,

    Find an old one (they are often replaced due to case cracking) and open it up.

    Hi this is what I was able to determine via a borescope investigation.

    There were a few different exhaust systems that Rotax produced over the years.

    The one shown below is P/N 973 385.

    This design features a single tube that passes through baffle plates.
