I upgraded my engine at Rotax dealer in Czech Republic last week. It seems to me that there is no improvement on my plane. take off is longer than before and consumption in flight upper than before. Is there something wrong in my configuration ? I use an in flight adjustable propeller. Is there anybody who encounter the same problem ?
My engine is brand new and going on my CH750 when I finish it. I have just returned the engine to Bert Flood (Australian Rotaz Distributor) for the upgrade. Rotax insist that the engine is to be run on Floods test rig before and after the upgrade to check performance.
I had one of my customers 912 iS upgraded to the iS Sport in the beginning of January 2015 at California Power. Kevin did a good job at it. I runs smoother, prop RPM is the same at full throttle.
HOWEVER, after 2 months I am still waiting for the ROTAX warranty refund. I was told it normally takes 3 weeks but it is almost 9 weeks and Kevin tells me he has done everything and gets no response from ROTAX.
Who can I contact up the chain of command to find out what the problem is? This is pretty ridiculous for such a reputable company.
Any one else have such a problem with the warranty refund ROTAX promised or am I alone on this? How long have others waited?
