I would like to know if there is some differencies between the ignition boxes used on a 912 80 hp and the ignition boxes used on a 912 100 hp...? In other words , may I interchange these elect boxes between an 80 hp and a 100 hp, and viceversa ? Thanks for helps . Marco

Check Rotax parts catalogue - If part numbers the same, it is reasonably safe to assume that they are interchangeable.
Be aware that Rotax have upgraded the 912ULS (100 hp) ignition system to what they call "Soft Start". This system involves both ignition modules (black boxes) and fly wheel (ignition timing sensors). I do not know if the same was done for the 912UL (80 hp).

There area various different variants with different connectors. I have seen someone on afors.com who sells adapters to allow you to mix and match.

I've attached a picture that I captured off the website a few years ago as it looked useful. The seller was
