one Rotax shop suggested using q-tip and some sort of compound (did not work). Someone used a pencil with lead exposed (did not work) Tried using old needle valve with lapping compound (did not work).
One shop buys motorcycle seats and installs them in the aircraft carb (did not work for me following instructions that came from Bing). Rotax does not condone seat replacement. and does not sell seat. Probably does not condone lapping also, no video, no instructions.
New carb cured my rough and excessive mag check that previous owner had lived with for 200 hrs and two years. Still had new carb after fist flight put a puddle on hangar floor after turning fuel valve on next day and then stopped .dripping.
