Oil vent trap

I will check for the notch. Thanks. If I fill over half it just sucks it out to  about half way on the stick and makes a huge mess on the belly

I already learned all that from you guys   but it makes an awfull mess and I am wearing the paint off cleaning it every other day. Icannot fill either of my planes or it just spits the oil out until it gets near the bottom of the stick then levels off.

I put a little plastic bottle on the remos to see how much comes out and it catch some but it still spits out of the bottle.

It sounds to me like you have way more coming out than most folks do...

Sounds like you are over filling.

Do you burp properly before measuring the oil level ?

Yes everytime. It is normal but it makes a mess on both my planes and I just wondered if anyone ever put on a way to catch it?
