Please do NOT use ultrasonic cleaners on Bings. There are many bore holes that are sealed with a ball and epoxy sealant. Ultrasound has removed this in many cases and will lead to air leaks in the carb body.
Ultrasonic cleaners can be used on the brass jets.(period) We are tlking about the idlejets not the whole carburetor. Or just buy a new set of jets with O-rings and just get done.
Appreciate everyone's inputs, I'll trim the wires & reset them. I fly regularly (at least once a week) and filter fuel (Mogas) but will clean the idle jets just to eliminate. The issue came on between flights, one flight I had ~75 drop on each side, next flight 600 on one with no maintenance or engine work done in between. will keep you posted. thanks
