oil filter question

    How much Oil are we talking about?
    A small dribble, or a few ounces?

    The Oil Filter valve prevents Oil draining Back into the Tank.
    It will not help with Oil flow from the Tank to the Crankcase.
    This is the direction Oil is supposed to flow so preventing forward flow would make No sense.

    Have you done a compression check recently?
    You may just have bad rings all around.
    You might want to pull one of the cylinders to see what is going on.
