Yes we took it to a certified Rotax mec. They said submitting the paper work "was a mess". They only charge me 95.00 to do the work so I just paid it. It is not worth fighting over that small amount. but still not fixed. ???
Although not the exact same problem as you, I had persistent leaking carb issues. After several half measures, including some of the ones you describe, I had new bowls installed. I paid out of pocket, and still I am awaiting Rotax warranty payment.
