Same threads for the oil inlet fitting, you are thinking of the threads for the oil pressure sensor that changed from 1/8NPT to 10mm straight.

2 quick questions before I take it apart...
Since I'm experimental, will any 14x18mm copper washer from an auto parts store work or should I make sure it's rotax?
And to look for cracks, I'm going to clean look with light and magnifying glass, any other suggestions?
Thx

if you use Loctite 243 you do not need a gasket, it is oil tolerant and will seal very well.
a crack will look like a very faint pencil line running down the threads.
