Pulling Gearbox quick question

I have a Woodward prop governor and a Hoffmann constant speed prop on my 912F3 engine. I just want to redo the seal on the gearbox. To save time, can I pull the gearbox with the propeller still attached? It looks like I could disconnect the oil line to the prop and then pull the whole assembly?

I would not do that; you risk damaging the prop or gearbox if you drop it/bump it. sounds awkward to handle... and that's a $6000 prop.

I felt just like John about taking the prop off when I removed my engine but was glad I did because of the corrosion I found on the bolts and pro flange and was able to address the issue before permanent damage was done.

Thanks. I'll pull the prop. It did look like it would be tight working with the prop on. Also, if I open up the governor oil line will I have to do the pressurization step for the valves afterwards?
