912 ULS Return line

First time builder with no experience of anything, but surprisingly find myself at the point of installing an engine.... I hope you'll put up with my (dumb) questions.
I'm trying to decide what to do with the return line, searching and browsing here has raised a lot of options (I want to avoid opening the wings for the tanks) and haven't seen a definitive answer on whether you can tee it back into the fuel line, pilot-side.
The gascolator on my Zenith 750 kit doesn't have an in port, otherwise I would go that route, though I do have an ACS one spare I could put inside the cabin just for that purpose. But I'd prefer not to if I can just go back to the supply line - any opinions?
