The best would be to have second test set of probes and gauge. But I haven't.
Note that EGT reading in flydat is switching for about 8s from left to right side (you can see left/right arrow).
I curious why I have highest temperatures cross. Naturally would be to have lower reading on PTO side (in case od cooling air).
I'll try to clean/inspect probes and verify if they are connected in good order (PTO/MAG, L/R).
When probes start to go bad cleaning won't help. It is an internal problem with the thermal-couple. If it were me I wouldn't look at the carbs causing such a big and wild swing, but the electrical side.

Uhm, the best is to swap probes and see. If bad reading will travel through display it will be problem with engine, if it will stay - the probe is faulty.
The problem is I have short wires and I have to disassembly cockpit for loose wires. A lot of work... but I can to do this.
If not electrical it can be a problem with bad burning? For example bad compression on one cylinder?
I tested a month ago cylinders and compression was equal (in norm) on each. I have only tool to make compression test (not leak down test).
Engine after gearbox rebuild works smooth, if believe egt orders "faulty" cylinder is no 3 and on this cylinder I have CHT probe and reading is normal (about 82*C when 10*OAT).
Wires and probes are for analyze, it's sure.
I was reading that similar problem can occur when there is air leak on intake. I have carb flanges replaced a year ago and new o-ring on right side (I sent to rotax a month ago my cylinder head for replace pushrods shields). I put new o-rings but maybe intake manifold not fit exactly..
What is the method for check leaks? I heard about using startup spray and observe rpm's.
