Hi Jay, I admit I've not fixed it yet. Interesting to hear you've got the same. I cleaned the area then ran it for a few mins and I have determined that the leak is not from the starter or where it mounts but that it is where the ignition housing joins the crank case. At exactly the area where the starter attaches to the housing, close to the starboard/ outer starter attachment bolt. I guess the seal between the ignition housing and the case must have been disturbed/ tweaked during my job of changing the starter motor. It's only a "weep" and never affects the level on the dipstick but makes a considerable mess after a couple of hours flying. I've been monitoring it closely (and cleaning) to get to the end of the season and it will be a winter job to fix. On my installation I will have to take the engine out to get to the ignition housing so not a 5 minute job!
