We could use a little more info. Look at these below.
This could be a couple of things. My first impression is it's either your start up procedures or a fuel/carb issue. Do you ever get kick back? Are the carbs synced at idle. I'm not thinking debris if it smooths out in 7-8 seconds and idles smoothly after that and syncs at idle. Hooking up the carb sync gauges can tell you more than if they are equal or not.
Change your start up procedures first to rule this out. I don't know what yours is, but make sure you don't add a lot of throttle at start, the idle is not set too low or too high, don't close the choke too fast or too soon, you may need to close the choke and add a little throttle as you do, start rpm will be better if you start up closer to 2200 rather than 1800.
On the throttle part. It may be a fuel issue (too much or too little), but try this one time. Do add a little throttle(small amount, just crack it) at start and see if that helps or hinders.
