Or could i have a simple T-piece without restrictor in the end of the return line where it is attached to the fuel hose just before the gasculator?

And a T-piece with restrictor only on the fuel hose above the engine between the fuel sensor and the T-piece that sends the fuel to the carbs?

I've never heard of anyone restricting both ends of the return line. Also I believe it is recommended that a check valve be included in the return line to prevent back flow toward the engine when your fuel valve is shut off.

Complicated stuff. I have flown 16 years without a return line. Why not skip it now also. It makes no difference with a fuel pressure gauge installed. The electrical pump that i will also install is only intended for emergency backup.

With or without a fuel pressure gauge is not the issue. The main purpose of the fuel return line is to recirculate some cooler fuel (preferably from outside the engine compartment) to help prevent vaporlock, especially on hot starts after shutdown.

Yes okay, but do you think it is okay to only have a T-piece without restrictor on the fuel hose that goes in to the gasculator?

And have a T-piece with a restrictor only at the end of the return line that begins from the hose after the mechanical fuel pump above the engine?
