Flickering Oil Pressure

Does anyone have the replacement part # for the VDO unit? I also am having some flucuation on the high side and dont want to go to the Honeywell if Possible. Seems to be worse with the new rotax oil filter at low RPMs. Anyone Else seen this?

My Rotax ULS 912 reads a Honeywell unit on my Dynon 180. All is good. Now the fuel sending unit that Dynon uses....needs work.

Had this same problem recently on a Remos with about 230 hours. Removed the spring, ball and, plug and found the spring had created grooves inside the plug and was causing the jumps in oil pressure. Installed new parts, problem has not reoccured last 30 or so hours.

I replaced the spring ball and plug but it did not change the symptoms, I have ordered the new "cone" to replace the ball since maby say that helps but they are on back-order.

Forget the ball and cone...move your oil pressure sensor (Honeywell or VDO) back to the firewall...too much vibration next to the gearbox. Your readings will be rock solid. Call Lockwood...they have everything you need.
