Drop in RPM during Mag Check

Hello, I am a beginner in trike flying. I have a rotax 582 and during runup on the mag checks I have one side that drops about 1k rpms. The other side doesn't drop much at all.Any suggestions?

Start with the basics. Clean and check the grounds and connections on the external ignition units. Check resistance on the plug caps. Clip a 1/4" off of the ends of the high tension leads and reset them with a bit of dialectric grease. Start with a new set of plugs.

dennisr5, Thanks for the reply. I changed the spark plugs and now my mags drop 100 on each side.
