I run a 503dc on my weightshift trike...solo I get 10 LPH,

Cruise rpm is around 4900rpm,

Are your plugs a nice tan brown coulor????

What max RPM are you getting???

Hi,

I am also doing about 10l per hour, and the plugs are burning well. I can get the revs above 6000.
I dont think that the 503 is possibly underperforming, I was hoping to hear if any tricks are avaiable, like possibly coverting to fuel injection. The objective for me is to stay up longer.

Ken,

If you are burning 10L/hr., you are already running at maximum efficiency. If I remember correctly, Rotax specs are 15L/hr. at 75% throttle for the 503. Sounds to me like you have done a perfect job of tuning that engine.
