Hi Rhett,
A 2mm gap most likely won't affect anything, but if you can correct it is would be better. Are both carbs doing the same thing at the same time? The carb is flowing wide open even before then.

Hello Roger, Yes both are close to being the same.(need to get a pneumatic sync done to confirm)
I'll look into it a bit more, but if there is no impediment to flow then it may not be worth the trouble to fix.
