Good discussion. I like the idea of opening the oil tank access door to create a chimney before walking away for lunch rather than cutting permanent vent holes in the top cowl. If I cut holes, then I’d worry about carb ice formation. Those carbs sit up high, warm and snug under that tight cowl.
