When the carburetor bowls are removed to weight the floats remove the idle jet and check that there is no corrosion and or debris clogging them.

Hi Garrett that’s all good when I removed the carbs there was raw fuel ⛽️ on the intake side rubber clamp and the fuel level was nearly top of bowl

So you weighed the floats? The max weight when each SET is weighed is 7 grams. The average I see is 6.1 - 6.5 grams per set. Did you check the the float valve works? Do the slides move easily up and down? Are the rubber carb flange intake mounts in good shape not cracked? If the engine is shaking the float valves won't work properly. Are the carburetors syncronized?

Going to weigh floats tomorrow but carbs are due for 5 yr tune up so will go from there

You should change the rubber carburetor mounting flanges as well if they one fails during operation the vibration can cause damage. It could be severe.
