When I took the Line Maintenance Course I was told that the minimum compressor CFM to perform a differential compression check was listed in the maintenance manual but I can't seem to find it. Anyone know what the minimum is?
Unless you have some tiny little bicycle pump, most pancake or larger compressors are just fine. It doesn't use that much air per cylinder check. It's regulated by an orifice.

Hi Rodger, I'm replying in wrong forum, but only because I'm unable to locate your email contact. I recently bought a never flown Zenith Cruzer in Australia with a 2011 912 ULS with according to the owner, it has around 1500 hrs. The seller said he had no engine logs, so want to have carbs overhauled and 5 year recommended rubber replacement happen. I'm am American, but live in Philippines 11 months a year. I'm returning in Sept to visit relatives and friends and take the Service course in Corona, CA. Since you're a carb rebuild servicer, I'm considering hauling the Bings in my suitcase to West Coast.
