So I got the plane home on my friends carbs, Replaced the diaphragms and rebuilt the carbs, reinstalled and developed a new problem. Plane starts, idles, runs up and gets full power, acts like it runs out of fuel after about 25 seconds. Fuel pressure is a constant 6psi, floats are good, bowls and jets are clean. Only possible thing I can find is the slides might not be as smooth as they should be- if a slide sticks on one side will that cause the engine to die? I'm at a loss here. Never had so many issues with such a basic carb....
