Clyde, If the sensor is mounted on the engine I really think your erratic pressure reading is due to engine vibrations. Checkout page 7-47 in the Dynon SkyView installation manual they have been recommending that the sensor be mounted on the firewall and connected with an appropriate rated oil line to prevent vibration damage. I bet your pressures will settle down if this is done and the instrument is not damaged already. I also know that Lockwood Aviation has been selling a kit for the CT aircraft for at least 5 years for this issue.

Page 7-42 SkyView Installation manual for oil pressure page 7-47 relates to fuel pressure which also says the same in regards to remote mounting.

Yep, I guess that is my next thing to try. Because it works just fine with the engine not running and using air pressure, so it could be vibration. Why in the world would Rotax go to a oil pressure sender mounted on the engine that is susceptable to vibration?
I'll check out the Dynon manual. Thanks.

Ok, so I remote mounted the sender to the firewall and the oil pressure is still jumping up and down. So at this point I am done with the Keller sender. Since I went the the trouble of fabricating a remote mount I will just get a VDO sender and be done with it.
