Rotax 912 fuel filter

Roger,
My S4 came with only a gascolator with a fine mesh screen. There isn't a filter after the mechanical engine driven fuel pump. No problems to this point. Gascolator seems to catch everything. Float bowls are clean. Would you suggest a filter down stream of the engine driven fuel pump?
When the engine was new and again after maintenance, two years ago, I did have two partial engine failures with small rubber particles being sucked up into the jet. No problems in two years :)

I don't think you need a filter after the fuel pump.

Rotax has issued a service bulliten advising a fuel filter for 912 series engines, which I bought. P/N 874 060.
I cannot find any fittings that fit the female threads on that filter. Help!
