Oil draining from the lower spark plug holes

I recently purged the oil system on my new engine (in an RV-12) per SI-912-018 and then removed the bottom spark plugs to check the tracking of the propeller. Oil flowed from the spark plug holes. Is this normal or does it indicate a problem? Thanks

Hi Manny,

Don't panic yet. It's possible, but usually doesn't happen. Brand new engine. If you are set to run it do that a time or two and then double check.
