If your idle voltage has dropped from 13.8 down to 13.6 and your full charge voltage has increased from 14.2 up to 14.6, I would suspect that the cause may just be the battery is slowly loosing capacity.
In essence, it may have become a smaller battery than it used to be and is allowing the regulator to swing a little farther than it used to.
But still, be sure to check all the connections first, the symptoms are the same.
