My IVO, 72in. is new and a medium. For flying with skis I find its great for a quick adjustment of the blades for more pull in the snow. I'll talk to our Rotax guy here in Calgary about the dynamic balancing.
Thanks to all of you for responding.
You will have no problem with the 72in prop it will be smoother and if you do not over pitched you will lose no speed maybe gain speed but do pitch for 5600 to 5700 wot in level flight.,.. I say this because it sounds like you maybe pitched a little high now from your speed you stated above...Yes just order the new hub but contact Ivo When ordering the new blade have your SN of you current blades so they can factory match your new blade. So yes the 80hp will have no problem you will not be disappointed 6 of my friends run that comb 3 with a Kitfox with speedser wing 28 foot with a cruise of 100 at 5100 normal wing 90 at 5100 100 at 5300 125 wot .. Over pitching can slow plane down why I don't know more pitch should be faster but see it all the time.

Because the engine hasn't enough HP and torque to turn it through the air when it is over pitched. Many 72" props are too heavy and its inertia will cause gearbox issues after a while. Putting too heavy a prop on or over pitching will cause you to pay the piper (out of your wallet) later as the engine hours climb.
