soft lifter after purge

I have a 912 ULS with 390 hours of 100 LL since new. After a purge of the oil system #4 exhaust valve lifter was found soft it came back to life after numerous runs to getting the oil temperature up over 230 deg F. Is this caused by the lead that gets in the oil and does anyone know if running an additive like Marvels Mystery Oil would eliminate problems with the lifters? I don't think lead would cause the lifter to go soft as it does not seem to accumulate inside. Lead will build up on the inside of the camshaft, sprag clutch, propshaft due centrifugal action. Obviously it also builds up in the combustion chamber and piston/rings but is does not build up in the oil galleries or oil passages such as the inside of the pushrods.
TCP or Decalin Run-up are known to reduce lead. Marvel is a complete mystery as it has not been formally tested like the TCP additives.

Marvel Mystery Oil can make a huge difference in the combustion chamber for carbon and lead deposits in 2 strokes. Huge. As far as helping lead accumulation problems in the rest of the engine, I have no idea.
