Hi there, We have three 912ULS engines s/n 6778919, 6778920,6778921 What year are these? there are no coolant sensors on these, Ok to fly without knowing water temps?
Many people don't have coolant temps. Many of those do however have the CHT temp which is on cylinders #2 & #3. These are VDO probes and measure the cylinder head metal temp. The coolant will be a little different, but close enough for most. The new 912 heads have probes that are actually in the coolant. Do you have CHT temps?
So yes it's okay to run without the actual coolant temp.
