Roger,
Just a question. when i lived in KCHD Ryan Field was in Avera Valley...I still remember they had a great restaurant on the airport...it was a great destination for a $10 coffee. I understand from friends that Ryan Field is now the old Marianna Airport...is that true and which one are you located on?

Chandler Airport (KCHD) is about 90 miles north of me. Marana Airport (Avra Valley) (KVAQ) is 18 miles north of Ryan Airport (KRYN).
I'm at Ryan Airfield. Both Ryan and Marana have restaurants. My on field restaurant is called Todd's. Not expensive, but neither is the Marana one.
We fly up to Chandler Airport now and then to the Hangar Cafe to eat.
Where are you now?

I am up in Alaska...wow KCHD has a restaurant when I left there it had one runway, no tower and no restaurant big change in 20 years.

PS: I'll be passing through the area in June after picking up my new Rotax powered Aeropro in Indiana, maybe I'll stop by for coffee.

Hi Michael,
Stop by anytime. Just let me know so I know to look for you. Chandler has a very busy restaurant, 2 parallel runways and a tower and it's a busy airport. I did my helicopter training there.
