Safety of fuel injector cleaner

I was told to apply a pint of STP fuel injector cleaner for 20 gal of gas for my Rotax 912 ULS. We use 95 octane unleaded, no methanol. Is this safe?

You shouldn't need it and would most likely be a waste. I doubt there is anything there worth trying to use this cleaner on. If you aren't having any issues then I wouldn't do any thing to create one.
The cleaner won't hurt the engine, but there is nothing to for it to help either.
